The SMART LIVING line presents multiple elements of innovation and originality:
- the improvement of teaching spaces promptly captures the growing attention on these aspects following the Covid-19 pandemic and the need for interventions for the purification of environments, as demonstrated by the recent provisions of the Prime Ministerial Decree -26 July 2022 for the school sector;
- concerned with environments with architectural constraints, the interventions require challenging and innovative solutions such as to be configured as living labs to test new strategies for improving the
comfort in historic buildings; - the proposals respond to the Smart Energy approach of Industry 4.0, as particular attention is paid to the energy efficiency of the spaces;
- the implementation of intelligent devices in the environments will generate a flow of data for analysis and predictive simulation processes within the SMART LAB network, managed as internal case studies on SEI, also with the involvement of students and doctoral candidates.
